A basic level of fitness with a high level of adventure.

Accommodation:

Accommodation on the tour is camping in swags under the stars with a good mix of natural bush land settings and camping grounds. Swags and bedding provided. Upgrades to pub accommodation can be arranged and cost $25 per person per night extra. If you would like to upgrade accommodation please confirm at the time of booking so availability can be confirmed.

Tour Departs:

07:30 Depart Brisbane on a Greyhound coach from the Brisbane Transit Centre Greyhound terminal bound for Toowoomba.  09:40 - Arrive at Greyhound Terminal Toowoomba at 09:40 where you will be transferred onto the Coach Qld Coach service to Cunnamulla departing Greyhound Terminal Toowoomba at 10:30 and arriving 19:45 in Cunnamulla where your adventure tour officially begins.

Meals – All meals are provided on the tour including breakfast, lunch and dinner each day as outlined in the itinerary.  Special dietary requirements can be accommodated please confirm at time of booking so we can ensure there is lots of fresh healthy food to suite your needs.


Transfers/Entries – Collection to and from accommodation included daily.  All entries are included as per itinerary.


Accommodation – Camping in a swag under the stars in a good mix of natural bushland settings and camping grounds.  Swags (bed roll) and bedding provided.  All site fees included

 

Travel – Travel to and from Cunnamulla on Greyhound / Coach Qld ex Brisbane is included in the price.  Travel during the tour is included in our mini coach.

Day 1 - Sunday (D)
07:00 – Check in at Brisbane Transit Centre Greyhound Coach Terminal desk.

07:30 – Depart Brisbane on Greyhound coach bound for Toowoomba. 

09:40 - Arrive at Toowoomba Coach Terminal and transfer onto the Coach Qld Coach service.

10:30 - Depart Toowoomba Coach terminal via the Garden City then through the rugged outback Dalby, Moonie, Westmar, St George, Bollon and then destination Cunnamulla.

19:45 - On arrival in Cunnamulla you will be greeted by your Out the Back Australia tour guide taken to your night's accommodation and given dinner.

Day 2 - Monday (B, L, D)
Today you will explore a farm stay at "Charlotte Plains" where the adventure will take you all over this magnificent property.

Experience an abundance of bird and wildlife all in its natural environment and enjoy the freedom of wide open spaces as far as the eye can see.

Learn to make "Billy Tea" and "Damper" from a true blue Aussie and there is many photo opportunities as you discover spectacular sunsets and sunrises with the historical "Turnworth" bore in the foreground where we camp.

With nature's mineral rich hot spa at your disposal jump in relax and soak up all the goodness of the warm artesian waters with a beer or glass of wine. 

Tonight you will be served some great bush tucker in a magnificent setting in the outback.  You can enjoy the evening with outside dining sitting around the campfire sharing a yarn and experiences

Day 3 - Tuesday (B, L, D)
Depart Charlotte Plains for Cunnamulla, where you will feel like one of the locals after travelling on the Cunnamulla town tour discovering the history and culture. Find out what makes this small town in the outback tick as we travel around local industry including state of the art organic farming. 

In the afternoon sit back relax and enjoy a sunset cruise on the Warrego River with a local.  You will see lots of bird and wildlife as you soak up the tranquil ambience and enjoy another great outback sunset
Tonight's dinner will be a grand feed of roast lamb and vegies while you get to meet some local characters

Day 4 - Wednesday (B, L, D)
On today's journey experience the characters and legends from years past then test your skills at sandboarding the massive natural sand dunes. Late afternoon it's time to relax and relish in the adventure of an outback Aussie Pub crawl around the local's favorite watering holes before your farewell dinner.

Day 5 - Thursday (B)
06:00 - Rise early for breakfast before bidding a fond farewell to your new outback mates.
06:45 – Depart Cunnamulla for your return travel arriving in Toowoomba at 16:00, connect to Greyhound coach service departing Toowoomba 17:00 and arrive at Greyhound Terminal Brisbane Transit Centre at 18:40.
